A Good Friday
One of my favourite days of the year, my tiny brain decided it was Saturday from the moment I woke up. A golf course walk with Rosie then a fine pool swim in the sunshine. Lunch, a potter and then Will went for a driving lesson. His a levels are coming up fast and his bedroom is not a place that I think gives peaceful and productive karma. So like a tv makeover show, I had the one hour he was out driving around to make it better. Clear and clean Desk and top of chest of drawers, remove dirty crockery and clothes, hoover, change bedding. It looks much nicer, he was happy to see it and I feel better. There's lots of junk and rubbish still but they are on the sidelines and can be ignored.
Otherwise, I keep buying legs of lamb as they are all on offer so I cooked one for tea, we had it in kebabs. Started a jigsaw, watched a bit of telly, bed to finish my book. It's short stories, I thought I wasn't a fan but I have thoroughly enjoyed them- each one beautifully written.
And tomorrow is actually Saturday!
