Bolton

I did some potting on this morning and then thought I ought to get some exercise and cycled to Bolton. I wondered if I might go further but decided to quit before the rain came … before I expired … whilst I was ahead, and stopped to look at the church which has this unusual medieval carving of jousting knights.

Once I was back home craggy texted and came round with Fly and cake and after a cuppa we walked over to Acorn Bank. Lots to catch up on. It was a bit damp but not too bad and we spotted toothwort which I need to go back to and photograph again as the one I took wasn’t very good. Fly wanted to have a go with the wood chimes (extra).
