Hopeman Beach
There is a continuing theme of slow mornings on this holiday, which is good. We eventually set off to today’s first destination-Elgin. TT wanted to do some shopping- not something he normally wants to do.
We wandered, and popped into the book shop where purchases were made. We looked in a couple of shops, before having a lovely lunch in a cafe. Next stop was the bakers for pies, then we went in search of Gordon and MacPhail who have moved again, where TT was like a kid in a sweetie shop. Whisky was purchased!!
We then headed to Hopeman, and walked along the coast to Burghead, wandered around Burghead, making our way back to Hopeman via footpaths adjacent to the pig fields!
I went for a wee wander after tea, then finished my book(The Whalebone Theatre), which I have really enjoyed.
This is Hopeman beach, and the last glow in the evening sky(extra).
