The Easter Gnome Convention drew hundreds of people - especially families - to the Rhodo Gardens this morning. When MrJ and I finished our shift we knew 1) that we weren't quite as young as we used to be, and 2) that this was one of the most exciting events held in the Gardens in the 20 plus years we've been involved. There were many activities for the young ones - a BBQ, face painting, Gnome painting +++. And to top it all off, the weather was Blackheath at its beautiful best. Convention continues tomorrow...Happy Easter, all blippers.
