Tootsie, Tibbsy and the pigeon

The small dark shape outside behind Tootsie is Mr Tibbs in full stalker mode watching the oblivious pigeon which was having a grand old time hopping about pecking at the grass. Tootsie was doing a bit of indoor stalking from the windowsill, chattering away at the pigeon.
Spent the morning drinking tea, doing crosswords and the online puzzles I do every day - Wordle, Connections, the NYT mini crossword and Strands. I kid myself it’s keeping my brain active. It’s just an excuse for tea and KitKats.

My friend A (we’ve been pals for over 40 years and are forever being asked if we’re sisters)popped in for our weekly catch up yesterday and as usual we ended laughing til our faces hurt. We’ve been each other’s safe places for our entire friendship and I feel very lucky to have her.
