Easter trullies
In Western Finland, there is an old trulli tradition on Easter Saturday. Children go door to door dressed up as Easter witches, now also as witches' cats or Easter bunnies. The trulli wish you a happy Easter, hand out a decorated wand, recite a poem or, for the bravest, even sing. In return, the houses give out Easter candy from the decorated wand into the trulli's coffee pot or bunny/cat's basket. It's different from Orthodox Easter or Halloween, although it was later influenced by both.
A pagan tradition at first.
In any case, these little trullies are wonderful!
Had to add one more picture...
We saw hundreds of Tufted Ducks in the bay on our evening walk along the seashore. The air was filled with seagulls and their cries and rows of Cormorants were sitting on the rocks. Maybe there was a fish spawning going on that attracted such a huge number of birds to the bay. You can't capture the view with your cell phone but the sky was also beautiful!
