Proud Mummy Duck

One of the wild ducklings who has been nesting in our floating duck house has emerged today with 14 ducklings. From experience we know that she won't hang around and by tomorrow she will have led them into the field on the opposite side of the river. This is a dangerous strategy because of the all the rain we have had in the last 48 hours the river is running fast, but in her mind it is safer than staying on the pond.
