Times Square

We started the day with bagels for breakfast (rainbow bagel for CyclopsJnr!), then took a bus ride up town.  We had a look at Times Square and some shops there, then had American McDonalds for lunch.  CyclopsJnr reports the Chicken Nuggets taste slightly different, but that otherwise the American McDonalds is much the same as the UK. 

After lunch we went to MoMA (the Museum of Modern Art) for a wander round.  We saw lots of really interesting stuff and MrsCyclops and CyclopsJnr made some weaving patterns.  The Van Gough "Starry Night" was definitely the highlight.

Next we meandered up to Central Park where we sat in the sun for a bit and had a snack (Ice cream for me, pancakes for MrsCyclops, Waffle for CyclopsJnr). 

Next we stopped by a large second hand book store where we bought 8 graphic novels for under $35 (that's about £3 each).

Then we headed back downtown on the bus to complete our tour circuit.

At this point Cyclops got the subway back up town to go to the theatre.  MrsCyclops and CyclopsJnr grabbed some dinner on the way back and watched a kids movie in the hotel before bed!
