Not a chance . . .

I was wandering round the garden admiring all the vegetable planting Gordon has done and loving the wildness of everything else, when I noticed the lambs playing.

I was trying to get a photo of ‘gambolling ’ - ‘running and jumping playfully’, when I realised they were in hot pursuit of a Pheasant. Poor Pheasant, as if they aren’t persecuted enough, without being chased by lambs. Mind you, as the sheep was saying - you’ve not a chance of catching it!
