1151 day of war

Hello, friends!

We’ve finally got some warm spring weather, and it really does improve the mood, even despite all the bad news around the country. This week I focused more on working with T-shirts, and that brought in some new orders that I’m working on now. The warmer it gets, the higher the demand for T-shirts, and that makes me happy.

Right now, we’re all getting ready for Easter, and I wanted to take a photo of this year’s decorations, but they haven’t really put up anything new in the city center. Also, all public events are going to be canceled tomorrow due to the threat of shelling, so people won’t gather in large crowds. Of course, that doesn’t stop anyone, and on Easter there are always a lot of people near the churches, but the concerts and celebrations like before are no longer happening. It’s sad to see the empty city center that used to be full of people, and now on any given day you could ride a bike through it and hardly see anyone.

Lately, I try to read the news less. I really want to believe that it will all end soon, but I also understand that if it doesn’t, things will be hard again. I notice how the war feels like a heavy burden that’s constantly pressing down. And the more hope appears for a quick end and return to normal life, the harder it is to accept when nothing changes again — and the shelling, the deaths, and the threat to our country’s existence continue.
I think we have to believe that it can’t last forever, but also learn how to live in these conditions. Spring has a positive effect on my mood, and I hope that soon walks through green parks and bike trips to the pond will make things better, and I’ll feel a bit more optimistic. For now, I’m just trying to stay calm and hope for the best.

Happy upcoming Easter to everyone! Thank you as well for the support and help on BuyMeACoffee.
Wishing you all a lovely holiday!
