Easter Bonnet

Went on two buses to Harrogate to get my hat for the wedding.
There has been a bit of a mix up and it wasn’t ready so l did a bit of shopping and went back after two hours. It wasn’t quite what l had envisaged, it was a different milliner from who l initially discussed my ideas with. But all was not lost and the lady and her assistant listened to my ideas ( and luckily l had a photograph of the dress)  and we added all the colours l had initially asked for but had been told at the time l wanted too many and it wouldn’t work. 
Well when l saw all the feathers l could pick out every colour l wanted and it worked, l was nearly crying with happiness with the result as it turned out exactly as l wanted. Small but with enough ooomph to make me happy.
I’ve promised to send them a photograph.
Then caught a bus to Chapel Allerton where there is a lovely card shop that the owner can personalise the cards to your requirements.
On the way l passed The Stray and took a photograph of some of the blossom trees, l can’t get enough of them at the moment. They have been stunning this year.

Got off the bus and got a card for Verity’s 18th and one for Tim and Adele’s Wedding, both only a few weeks away. Two more buses then home.
Just caught Rebecca and Kitty who had brought me some Easter treats ( they are going to the Lakes for a couple of days to do some walking). I showed them my hat along with my dress and it matches perfectly, thank goodness l am good at holding a colour in my head.
