World Trade
This morning we went back down to Shotley Gate to go to the HMS Ganges Museum. We went for coffee first to get our free parking then went to see the museum
Ganges was a training school for the Royal Navy and took 15 year olds direct from school to train them for a career in the navy. It closed in 1976. It was famous for the climbing the mast ceremony. Cadets climbed the mast and one stood on the button top to salute
The museum was very interesting lots to see and people to chat to.
This afternoon we went into the hall for games, tea and cakes, back again this evening for a disco , not sure how long I will stick it for
The picture is one of the huge container ships being docked at Felixstowe
Haze sun this morning then sun this afternoon still that very cool wind
