Stunning Shrewsbury

We got the park and ride into Shrewsbury today. What a beautiful town!

The spring flower display in the park was exquisite. I know many think this style of horticulture is old fashioned but it makes for a stunning colourful show.

The town was buzzing, full of people, very few empty shops and a good mix of chain and independents.

After we got back to the caravan we did a lovely walk to a small waterfall, enjoying listening to the birds - including a snipe - and admiring lots of ransoms, bluebells and may blossom.

Another lovely day with weather significantly better than forecast.
