A bit of a walk

A day without rain but it was cold and windy. I went for a walk. The streets are full of cherry blossom, still much of it on the trees but also carpets of what looks like confetti. It's still very pretty on the ground.
Nipped to see Mum and took her a small Easter egg - I only got her a little maltesers one as I think she'd be over-faced with anything bigger. She was very pleased with it. I noticed she's had her hair cut and blow-dried and she looks (and feels) better for it. She seemed quite chirpy today. Showed her and my brother Mike some photos from my granddaughter Taneisha's Paris marathon and of course, of her engagement ring.
Taneisha tells me she is doing the Birmingham half marathon in 2 weeks.
I've not done much else today apart form a few bits of washing which dried well in the wind.
