Back to thermals!

it was so cold this morning. I had got dressed in a single layer but had to go and put my thermals on!
We had planned on catching the bus to Skipton for a wander but decided it wouldn’t be pleasant in the cold so we didn’t go.
However it was a good drying day as it was very windy but the sun did come out.
I spent most of the day messing about with collage and drawing.
I made scones and then phoned Marc for a chat.
Sabrina, John and the girls have gone to stay a night with the girls’ previous childminder Sue and her hubby Tim.  Sue looked after Amelia and Lucy from when they were babies and she’s like another Granny. They love her.
What a fab time they are having as Sue and Tim moved to Dunoon right on the coast, so they’ve had fun beach combing and looking in rock pools at sea creatures. Tim is a geologist so would be telling them what all the rocks and pebbles are. 
Book and bedtime now, I can’t stay up till 10, I’m just too tired.
