Table top..Paston treasure.

A couple of hours to wander around the Castle museum while we were in Norwich .
This blip is section of a table top made in Florence 1625-38 and collected by the Paston Family. Lapis lazuli, jasper,agate, chalcedony and amethyst in black Belgian marble in the Florentine style of pietre dure or hard stone ..so beautiful:-)
