Buruti

A spontaneous decision to go down to the barrio of Poble Nou today in the late afternoon and try out a newish Brazilian restaurant with good reviews - Buriti. We were lucky to get the last table in the small place and ordered feijoada for two. Lovely service, all Brazilian staff, informal atmosphere. Brazilian music, Brazilian decor. We were the oldest diners by a long shot! The feijoada was delicious and we were really pleased to see couve and sliced oranges - not a given. We wandered around Poble Sec afterwards, enjoying a different barrio. Home to watch the final of The Apprentice.

My blip is a close up of an Easter display in a local bakery in Poble Nou, but it seemed quite Brazilian!
