Easter egg games

Today lived up to its forecast of continuous rain. The children started their day with an Easter egg hunt indoors. The oldest followed the clues to finding the eggs while the youngest followed him around. Great excitement at eating some of an Easter bunny before breakfast.

After this the oldest spent some time organising his cuddly toys into teams to participate in an Easter egg hunt using cut out ones he had coloured.

A day of various games and an attempt to visit a nearby playground. It started to rain very heavily as soon as we got out the car. We headed to a large supermarket instead to pick up a few items so at least we got outside for awhile.

The rain continued throughout the evening. We’ve certainly had a lot today.
