Refurbishment project underway.

We visited our younger son and partner this afternoon. The wee family came along too. Coffee, snacks and chat before their long planned holiday to New York and Las Vegas. Cases were packed, everything under control.

Checked out a project on the Forth and Clyde Canal. A flight of locks being refurbished, gates replaced (last done 25 years ago) and much more. The canal is dewatered to the east. A lot of thought has been given to the systems of work, including emergency arrangements. It is an 18 month job.
