Sunset Boulevard

Mr P and I found out this morning that a tree next to our car had come down during the night. Luckily it fell backwards rather than forwards or our car would have been crushed!
We set off for Valencia and stopped off for brunch en route at a high altitude town. Our car thermometer went from 4° to 22°. Son no 1 (Danny) his partner (Sinéad) and son no 3 (Joe) met us at the flat and helped us unpack. Joe arrived from Barcelona on Thursday and has been staying with Dan and Sinéad but he’ll stay with us now until Monday evening. Mr P and I hit the shops in the afternoon as they’ll all be shut until Tuesday. In the evening we were invited to Danny and Sinéad’s flat for a meal (about 25 mins walk from ours). It was the first time we’d been there. We really liked it. This is the view from their living room. We went out for drinks to their local bar first and then they plied us with more drinks and fajitas. I really enjoyed being reunited with them all.
