Easter fire

In Germany there is a tradition on the Saturday before Easter that everyone may build a fire in his yard. The original idea was to allow garden trash and cuttings to be burned, but meanwhile it has become a social event, that allows people in a neighborhood to come together have many beers and enjoy spontaneous get - togethers around a big fire. The biggest are on beaches where people collect driftwood for months
