A pretty stormy start to the day with strong gusts of wind from the North and rain. It did ease up enough to go for a walk up the village around midday but remained cold. We elected to have a rest day. This blurry shot is HMS Ledbury, a minesweeper, which was on some sort of exercise, zigzagging across the Kyles all day before steaming off before sunset.
There was a big shinty match in the afternoon which our local team won. I’ve never seen shinty but we didn’t go as it was too cold. Everyone was wrapped up as if for winter.
Hired the new Bridget Jones film on Amazon as a treat but we didn’t think it was very good. Not certainly not very funny. Don’t understand why everyone gave it such rave reviews.
