Decorating and Daisies

Well, the painting’s almost complete! G has already painted the one replastered  dining room wall black - yes black as our room has a black and white colour scheme! In the lounge I actually manage to paint two walls - though progress is slow and I can hardly move by the time I finish! We’ve gone for Nutmeg White above the picture rail, with  Knotted Twine for my two walls and Perfectly Taupe on the other walls and the fireplace. I’m really happy with the Knotted Twine, but I think we may need to go for a darker shade than the Taupe for the fireplace - but I think it’ll have to do for now! Tomorrow Daniel will help G to move the furniture back in place. 

Our lovely neighbours have invited us around for dinner - I’m so grateful because I can’t even think about preparing food! 

Today’s blip features the clump of daisies at the front of our rockery, with a little help from Distressed FX.
