I think I was in Bowness about 8 o’clock. After seeing the traffic queuing towards Ambleside yesterday morning I wanted to be home before I got stuck in any.

The early clouds cleared and it’s been a lovely blue sky day. I’ve done some garden work and sat in the sunshine for a while.
