Tulips
Today's the day ..................... for an OGM
Every autumn, I give myself a little treat of ordering a selection of tulips that I will grow in my 'posh' planter, to flower the following spring. It has become a bit of a tradition now and it's great to see what this year's selection will look like, long after you've forgotten what you ordered!
So, just for the record, the above are 'this year's selection' which are looking at their best right now. They are from Sarah Raven (always a very classy set of tulip bulbs to choose from). The orangey-red ones with the yellow bases are Tulip 'Amberglow' and mingling in with them are the pale lemon ones - Tulip linifolia 'Honky Tonk'.
I'm rather pleased with the overall look of them and I have awarded them this year's OGM (Order of Garden Merit) ...................... !
