Just for the record…

As this will be the last time we will see this Avenue of cherry blossom in the Woodland Trust having enjoyed, and blipped its annual show over many years. Like so many cherry blossom shots on blip this too is rather special.

Rather too much faffing about this morning. It was gone noon before people made a move to Doreen’s house to continue preparations for sale. There wasn’t much for me to do so I went for a run. It was cold out with a raw northerly wind

It was, of course, a very late lunch and not much was done afterwards so we went for a walk, capturing the blossom on the way round.

Back home while others rested from the exertions of their day I cooked an Easter Sunday roast leg of lamb - in the air fryer. It was a resounding success, tender, juicy and sweet and British lamb too.

I have my feet up now while the others clear up… may be a dram or two to end the evening?

Again, just for the record, I have only blipped this avenue on three previous occasions; 2024, 2017 and 2013. They were much smaller trees 12 years ago.
