A Shattering Experience

First thing this morning I discovered some worrying behaviour in our bank accounts, not helped by a new section on the App stating “Declined payments” with two items in it.
 
Some three quarters of an hour later there were two very satisfied Barclays’ customers with the problem resolved.  It would appear that Mrs W’s details had been hacked from somewhere compromising her debit card.  The only clue we had/have was an unopened email in her junk folder, now deleted.
 
To put the icing on the cake, before we finished, Barclays took details of Mrs W’s ailments so that if/when she calls in again the operator will take consideration of her condition.
 
 
That’s rather done us for the day.
 
I am making slow headway on commenting – many will be a bit brief.
