Fi messaged me, apologising for an aching body and sore shoulders, she wasn't going to the bouldering wall after all. But that's okay, she needs to rest before the club hutmeet in North Wales on Thursday... which I'll have to miss. I took myself off for a walk, in the rain but never mind, the fields are still bone dry and we need it.

I'm so grateful for all the offers I've had to accompany me to my appointment, true friends. I've said no though because, with it being all day I think I'd prefer to be on my own. But Rhian lives near the hospital, so I'm going round the corner to hers when I'm finished, and she'll give me a lift home  :-)
