Flowering cactus

I had some admin to do in the morning having realised that I have had no bank statements for the painting group for some time. It seems they are no longer sending them but saying everything can be done online. The only problem was that that their app was misbehaving and so I wasted a lot of time trying to access and file all the missing statements and then do the bookkeeping. Having got quite frustrated doing that, I decided to have a walk in the sunshine down to the supermarket and return via the river. When I got back, I heard that the Pope had died. I decided to go to the church to “sonner le glas” tolling the tenor bell 88 times. Pope Francis will be a hard act to follow. His humility and championing of the poor and the dispossessed is still very much a voice the world needs to hear.
