On The Way

Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Youngest Mini Princess,

The Eldest Mini Princess and I went to Mary Doll and Victor’s for lunch today.

Mary Doll had bought some garlic and herb prawns on the table.

“Am I remembering correctly EMP that you really like these?” She asked.

EMP: “Yeah Granny, I do. Thank you!”

MD: “I thought so. I remembered that as I was going round M&S…actually that’s what we went in for.”

Me: “So you remembered because you specifically went there for them?!”

Totally reminded me of when she used to pop in sometimes on a Sunday because they were “just passing.” I asked once where they were going.

“Here.”

“No, I meant where else?”

“Just here.”

Not sure that counts as just passing!

PS Mary Doll was horrified to learn that EMP occasionally has a PINT of cider because it’s “so unladylike”!

I told EMP that when I was about her age, Mary Doll refused to buy me a pint. She said she’d buy me two half pints but she was not sitting with me drinking out of a pint glass!!
