Soaring

A bittersweet day. Very sad news about Pope Francis this morning. I was a big fan. By far my favourite ever pope.
We’d all arranged a beach day today as Dan and Sinéad were off work and Joe was not heading back until tonight. It was perfect weather for it. The water was a bit chilly (16.2°…..balmy by Scottish standards) but I enjoyed a couple of swims.
We had a late lunch in my favourite beachside pizza restaurant. Home for showers and then we all met up again for an evening meal at ours, before Joe caught his bus back to Barcelona. Sad to see him go. We’ve enjoyed our time together this weekend.
