Lino Printing

Just trying it out again so I used the green lino. It didn’t turn out that well as the piece of lino was a bit bent so the roller didn’t cover every bit.
I’m going to do it again on the traditional proper lino. It was good for a practice and I will finish it. To make it multi colour I need to carve out all the blue then add yellow on the sun. Then carve away the sun do the leaves in green and the wren in brown. Once all the different parts have been carved away the lino cut can’t be used again.
I may try the other method of cutting each part into sections so it could be repeatedly used.
It’s been a cold wet day so no gardening. The rain is doing the garden good though.
Pope Francis died today. He was a good man with compassion, empathy and humility.
