April Showers

Another quiet day. Lots of April Showers and a little sunshine. Mr HB slept a lot and I got on with the usual Monday morning chores and even managed to strip the bed when Mr HB wasn't in it and got it made up again before he knew it.  

I spent the afternoon crocheting manes on unicorns for forthcoming Gt.Grandchildren. 2 due in September and October. Very pleased for Mr HB's eldest daughter, 60 this year and she was beginning to wonder if she would ever become a Granny.

Been playing nursemaid all day and haven't stepped foot outside but did catch the neighbours' beautiful blossom and the lovely sky this evening, and I've just been on a very interesting train journey with Michael Portillo (on the telly) from Shrewsbury to Telford. Really great to see our lovely County Town and some of its history in the spotlight.
