Sourdough first mix in progress
I have a lovely photo of flowers,
but, on balance,
this is the life of making a sourdough loaf, first mix from the starter that has been rising and doubled overnight, now mixed into flour and water with a small amount of salt with a fork - I find this best.... later stretch and folds by hand, in 24 hours time this will be in the oven covered at 220c for 30 minutes and uncovered at 200c for 10 minutes to create the magic of a homemade sourdough loaf.
