Ice, ice baby.

Off to Cowbridge as is usual on a Tuesday. I did the usual trawl of the shops,  and I was tempted to buy  another Welsh blanket in Happy Days. some of you will remember, I bought one about a year ago, and I have used it all through winter, but I thought it might be a good idea to get one for J. ( see extra photo)
I made my way down to Waitrose, and I was so disappointed to find the coffee shop was closed, due to staff sickness., so I walked back into town, and went into fablas, which sells ice creams, and coffee. Anne (gym) told me they give you a small scoop of ice cream with your coffee, which is a novel idea, I think. The coffee was good, and see my extra photos, of the view I had from my seat. They also have a shop in Porthcawl and Penarth. I must try the ice creams, as they had a wonderful selection. Off to Waitrose, again, and did the food shop. On the deli counter I bought some chilli and fennel sausage, and I asked the assistant if she had tried them. She said they were the best sausages she had ever tasted, so I hope she is right.
