R.I.P. Pope Francis

Imagine a world so corrupted by hatred and greed, that protecting the poor, the marginalized and the underprivileged would be considered "controversial".

As a fallen catholic, I have always been dismayed by the hypocrisy of Christians that would make peace offerings on Sunday, only to steal, cheat and lie all the rest of the week.

I read Pope Francis's encyclical on the environment in 2015 and he became one of my heroes, a truly great human being.
