What a day!

Sunny, warm, and this hillside was covered in cushions of Primroses! Even better, setting off on the Ullapool road I heard the first Cuckoo calling. It stayed hidden in the wood but called for a long time. Strangely, returning over the Struie Road twenty miles away, I heard another! Heard the Sandpiper here along the riverbank and saw a Wheatear!
