Donkey Sanctuary

Stretch class this morning then after lunch I took Ziggy to our vet near Sidmouth. Ziggy gets little cysts on his skin occasionally. They usually burst then heal but he's got one on his leg that he keeps licking and it's sore. We saw the vet 2 weeks ago and it was beginning to dry up then he started licking again. So today was another steroid injection then he's got 2 weeks supply of tablets to take which will hopefully stop the cycle of itch, lick, itch. 
We visited the Donkey Sanctuary afterwards as we had to pass it on our way home and it's always a lovely place for a walk (and free entry!)
Here's some of the donkeys in Shelter 4 herd. I've sponsored one of these (Ashley) for several years. They have a great view of the sea in winter but now the leaves are out it's difficult to see the sea in the distance, but it looked quite tropical this afternoon.
