Isn't she Beautiful

A bit of a dolly on the bank at Slimbridge WWT -  one of the Eurasian Spoonbills. 

Egret with what I think is a leaf in the Extra. A day on the phone dealing with things in Yorkshire with mum and it never failed to amaze me how as soon as I opened my car door my mobile would ring. 

I was pleased to capture this egret with what I think looks like a leaf midair in the Extra and also a wood sandpiper which at that distance I would otherwise have known if it were not for the expert at my side.


Mum has fallen out of her chair and my brother up there with her today  rang the Carers and they said hit the Red Button which he did. All is now well on that front but I fear it all doesn't bode well.
