a lifetime burning

Peruvian

I've been struggling with a very thick head all day, so haven't really done much save laze around.  I've kept myself occupied with Richard Osman's "We Solve Murders" - a very easy and light hearted read - just the thing for today.

I thought you'd probably appreciate a backblip more than an iPhone shot of my kindle.  So here is a male Peruvian Racket-tail, seen on the eastern slopes of the Andes last month.  The Peruvian Racket-tail has  the orange boots that you can see.  The White-booted version is found further to the centre and west of the Andes.
