Trig of the year
Up early picked my pal up for a day in the hills.
We headed west to glen aray north of Inveraray.
First hill through forest tracks and a burn to the high ground, we contoured to reach the final ascent a cracking wee craggy summit.
We headed south West again contouring the undulating high ground and avoiding peat hags.
Small herds of deer appeared in the hollows.
A cracking summit trig, we used by eagles I suspect with scats and droppings. The distant big hills had snow on top sparkling in the sun, a cold wind made us progress east back to car.
We contoured at a height to avoid the forestry then headed to track. 3 buzzards soared above us as we returned to car.
Tea on way home with high class chat.
Sourdough in oven.
Dog walk awaits.
Picture of beinn bhreac trig looking west.
