Cats - Indoors And Out

This morning Minstrel was absolutely zonked out asleep on the Sky TV box, using the TV remote as a pillow of sorts. Later I walked up Milman Hill as I had another hospital appointment this afternoon. I saw friendly Boris, curled up asleep on the pavement outside what I assume is his house. Usually he is keen to have a fuss made, but I didn't disturb his repose.

Weird how they are happy to sleep in such uncomfy places. Minstrel is on a soft cushion upstairs right now though...

This morning I went into town. Brian had given me a book token he'd won and I had points on my Waterstones card and they were burning a hole. I got a healthy Vegan recipe book, a book on politics and a crime thriller. I might Blip my book haul in the coming days if I don't see anything else, as I have a busy week.

This afternoon I had an appointment at the hospital for a heart scan. I arrived a little early and was called straight in. A young technician who I assumed was training did part of the scan and a more experienced woman took over when the younger woman could not find some areas. (There are those out there who may be surprised to learn that I have a heart to be found!) They didn't give me the results - I think they just take the images, then send them to the medics to interpret.

I received a letter calling me in for the other test the doctor I saw at the initial set of appointments ordered - an MRI scan. It sounds quite daunting.... It's next week and on the day I have to be there at 7.40 in the morning....
