Lighting up time

I went for a walk along the Basingstoke Canal this evening whilst my daughter was at a Body Balance class. Just a stroll along the canal path because I had to be back within the hour to run her back home. This was taken in the car park by Woodham Lock. I thought it was a nice juxtaposition between the pylon conveying power on the grid to a humble recipient of that power. The extra is of the lock gate, a study in black and white, and is one of a run of locks along quite a short stretch of the canal. It is not far from here to the Wey Navigation which featured in last Thursday's blip, and from there up to the Thames and London.
