Six

Today I had a meeting with a pensions advisor, which was very useful, although if it left me with a tricky issue to resolve. Then I returned to the office to await the arrival of our second French intern (I). There was just enough time to give her keys, a couple of HiGHS tee shirts, and introduce her to the other members of the team who were in, before we had to go to listen to intern R's interesting talk on the price of anarchy in game theory. 

In the afternoon, I found a quiet room to revise some optimization theory with the new intern, and when we returned we brought the number in the office up to six! I then spent the rest of the afternoon working with a dwindling number of office mates, as they sought quieter places to work or went home. We do need a larger office!
