Remember the Fallen

Although it sounds rather ghoulish, I do like to find/read a memorial to the fallen of WW1 particularly. They can be sources of a lot of information. Some of them give details of the ranks of the men, the service and unit / regiment they were in and sometimes where they were killed.
This memorial, in the parish church in Malton, North Yorkshire, was a bit different. The only extra information it gave, apart from some outstanding bravery awards - DSO, Croix de Guerre and MC - was the fact that quite a few of the men had been choristers at the church - poignant.
