I asked H to send me the poem which she read yesterday - it is by Felicity Mary Oliver. Not a name I know and I had to read it a few times - but H is way smarter than I am.
Today I met my sister K at Bluewater - we have been talking clothes and shopping (amongst other things) for a while. She doesn't really go shopping and orders on line but was really excited to have a day together. She had a few ideas and her criteria: does it fit, is it comfortable, will it go with what I've got, do I need it? Although the last one we always ignore because in truth, most people have enough clothes in the wardrobe and would not need to buy anything in several years. However, size, taste and fashions change.............c'est la vie?
We shopped and chatted and bought some lovely things and 6 hours later and 13,000 steps and I was on my way home! (the stuff of nightmares for some people).
We talked about Aimee a lot and I recalled shopping trips in the past where she would do hangers for me (and visa versa). However it was still a lovely day and we will do it again. My purchases are still in the bag - I was too tired to get them out and try on and definitely decide if I am keeping them (usually 50% goes back).
Day done.
