I'M COLD

Spent the day getting a pacemaker/defibrillator transplant. The old one was single lead...the new one is bi-lateral. They're trying to sync my out of sync ventricles...thus the 2nd lead to the other ventricle. 

It's 01:48 some 12+ hours after they wheeled me into the OR.  Sore throat...likely anesthetic effect.  Hard to swallow.  I'm lying here in a bed designed by a masochist wide awake watching TV late shows.  Doubt I will get any sleep at all. Anyone who thinks he can get some sleep in a hospital is obviously on anesthetic.

So I lie here with two ice bags on my wounds trying to stay warm.  It's tough staying warm when you're covered in ice bags.

More tomorrow...here comes "the lab."  Obviously looking for some more blood.
