There’s life up there on that rooftop!
So I reckon that fits the life element of the WidWed challenge but I should have turned me phone to landscape. Childish error!
It was interesting watching Our Welsh Chapel Dream yesterday because I lived for a few years in Tywyn. Pwllheli was the end of the railway line which ran from Machynllth and on to Shrewsbury.
In winter residents could travel on the coastal part of the route free of charge and it became a tradition to go up to Pwllheli every Wednesday. Most people stopped off at Pwllheli and had a wander round and fish and chips. But some simply stayed on the train and went back down again. The chip shop wasn’t far from the chapel.
And today’s saying is Bob’s your uncle.
Bob's your uncle" means that everything is taken care of for you—you're all set, you've got it made. The expression apparently dates back to 1887 when the original "Uncle Bob"—British Prime Minister Lord Salisbury—made his nephew (Arthur Balfour) Irish Secretary in a move that reeked of nepotism.
