Toots in Solitude

By Toots

M & S first thing this morning to 'click and collect' two pairs of jeans for Donald, he likes them baggy these days.
Phone call from Jack, he's home again now, released from Liberton Hospital. I gather there's a story but we'll meet up with him next Monday to hear.
Quick visit to swan, she's still sitting. I know I'll never catch the hatching, she won't tell me the date! She hissed fiercely at a passing dog who then scampered off quick.
This is a display of some of Donald's pots. When he was no longer able to throw with clay he sat and made wire and rag pots of different designs and techniques. He then went on to making variations of measured card squares and triangles to form pot shapes, really attentive and engrossed in their making. He also has done a lot of work with a base of cardboard squares with pot drawings, paintings etc, onto them. Colourful and wonderful art pieces.
