Weekly shop in the morning, then in the afternoon we headed for Frome. Met Ma on the train in Bath, then met Keith and Naomi in a coffee shop for a drink.

Little wander around town and up and down some big hills before our table was ready for dinner. We ate at Little Walcot, which I’ve always thought looks good but never managed to try. It did not disappoint.

Some small plates to share for starter, then a ricotta and wild garlic rotolo for main (would eat daily given the chance), finished with a scoop of salted caramel ice cream with pistachio biscotti. Oh and a lovely vino verde. Delicious food, delicious view up the hill.

Lovely to see the fam, we wandered back to the station together, then they headed off in an Uber back to their holiday house and we headed home.
